Compute, receipts, and settlement

Separate off-chain work from on-chain commitments and the evidence accepted for payment.

A provider-bound job lifecycle

The compute surface covers providers, escrow, jobs, receipts, settlement, audit trails, and challenges. Work runs on provider infrastructure; the chain applies deterministic rules to the records and evidence it receives.

Verification modes have different guarantees

T1 signed/optimistic, T2 redundant/quorum, and T3 attestation paths are distinct. An attestation path needs enabled policy and real verifier material. Do not treat every signature as proof of full execution.

Lumen verifies a narrower class of sampled commitments and provider signatures. Crucible coordinates training runs and artifact/reward records; neither means that the blockchain executes the entire model.

Discover actual providers and records

Use compute/provider query methods to inspect real network state. Empty or unavailable results must stay empty or unavailable. Build features, activated policy, DAO backing, and trust material can affect acceptance.
