Currency and Supply
The client registry publishes a configured genesis supply for each network. Keep genesis allocation, reward policy, current balances, and circulating-supply measurements distinct.
Configured genesis supply
Mainnet target supply is 10,000,000,000 MINT. Evolve canary target supply is 150,000,000,000 BITS. Testnet nominal supply mirrors the mainnet count with test SIG and carries no economic claim.
One display unit equals one million base units. Public RPC returns base-unit integers; explorers and wallets are responsible for network-aware formatting.

Integer-safe formatting
Use integer-safe arithmetic for base-unit amounts. Do not round or convert balances through floating-point values before signing. Large JSON numbers require a lossless parsing strategy in runtimes with limited integer precision.

Networks
Sigil runs three network classes: production mainnet, Evolve canary, and a public developer testnet. All network labels, RPC URLs, and currencies are explicit.
System Contracts
Sigil uses WASM system contracts as the policy gate for core chain features while preserving deterministic native execution for state mutation.
