Validators

Mainnet, canary, and testnet launch with 13 validators so release behavior can be rehearsed before production changes are pushed.

Activation gate

The current launch gate requires 13 active validators: 7 block producers and 6 block validators. Each must meet the upgraded self-bond. Total eligible stake must meet or exceed the chain policy floor.

The network can be active before it is decentralized. Stabilized/decentralized labeling is separate from block production and requires independent operator stake evidence.

Operator flow

Generate an HMR, MHR, or ENR identity in the wallet, bind the validator DID to that lineage, stake the required bond, launch sigil-node, and verify activation through public RPC.

Third-party validators should use dedicated infrastructure, independent key custody, and a public operator record. Linode StackScripts are planned for one-click node bootstrap after the live networks and docs are stable.
